Box Tops

Please continue to send in Box Tops through next Wednesday, February 27th.

 

Spring Carnival

The Spring Carnival will take place on Friday, March 1st from 5:30- 7:30 p.m. at the middle school. Each grade has a different theme basket and we ask that students bring in items that pertain to that theme. Please have your child bring in their donations by next Wednesday, February 27th. You are able to purchase tickets at the carnival to try and win a basket. The themes are as follows: Kindergarten- Family Fun Night items (games, movies, candy, books, snacks, cards, drinks, popcorn) 1st Grade- Garage/Workshop items (tools, batteries, extension cords, duct tape, flashlights, gloves, fasteners) 2nd Grade- Arts & Crafts/School Supply items (yarn craft kits, quilting quarters, scissors, notebooks, glue, folders, binders, markers, pencils) 3rd Grade- Gardening/Outdoor items (gloves, seed packets, flower pots, potting soil, gardening tools, mats, hand tools, decorations) Also, if you are able to help and volunteer, please send in the green slip that was sent home to the office.

 

 

K-3 Family Game Night

Permission slips came home yesterday for our Family Game Night, which will take place on Thursday, March 14th from 4:30-6:30 p.m. This is a free event. We will provide an opportunity to play different games that involve math, writing, and reading, while having fun with your family. Dinner will be provided and prizes will be raffled off throughout the night. Please return the permission slip by Friday, March 1st if your family will be attending.

 

K-3 Book Fair

Book Fair will take place Wednesday, March 6th from 7:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m., Thursday, March 7th from 7:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m. and Friday, March 8th from 7:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. They will be offering buy one book, get one free at this sale. Pine River 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament The 23rd Annual Pine River 3 on 3 Tournament will be played on Saturday, March 9th at Pine River High School. There are divisions for both boys and girls, ages 7 -18. Registration forms are available in the office. Entries are due March 1st.

 

Evart 3 on 3 Tournament

Registration forms for the 5th annual Evart Slam & Jam are available in the office. There are divisions for both boys and girls, ages 7 -18. This will take place on Saturday, March 23rd. Entries are due March 11th.

 

Tall Oaks Camp

The Tall Oaks – Odd Fellow and Rebekah Camp of Michigan located on Big Star Lake in Baldwin, Michigan is a non-profit organization that provides well-rounded weeks of summer camping experience for children ages 7-14 regardless of gender, race, ethnicity or religious affiliation. Income eligible family members could attend for as little as a $25 registration fee. Our weekly camping sessions begin on June 23 and run through July 27. We have a special shortened week of June 30th-July 3rd for first time campers. Camper information for Summer 2019 is now open and available at ioofmichigan.com/camp.
