Close Band Encounter of the First Kind! 1/3 of the high school band were guests in 5th grade music. We are greatful to have such a strong band program and that they shared their passion with our 5th graders! Thank you for such a great idea, Mrs. Tiyi!

Building a Legacy! Paula Justin, new Varsity girl's basketball coach, is starting her program with our "button bucks". Second through Sixth graders spent overtime on Saturdays building skills, and their program. Thank you to the varsity players and coaches!
Spooky? Silly? Spectacular! 6th and 7th grade have been honing their narrative writing skills and learning how to use voice recording and QR code technology to publish their stories.

Mrs. Johnson’s kindergarten class got the chance to use VR glasses for the first time today! Students got to see different animals in their habitats. They also learned how these animals are able to camouflage themselves to stay safe from predators.
Pine River Area Schools will be hosting a free flu clinic through Spectrum Health for all 6-12 grade students on Monday, November 25, 2019. Permission slips are being sent home this week. They must be returned to the middle & high school offices by Friday, November 22, 2019.
