First and Third graders buddy reading for March is Reading month!

Desktop Publishing's first Cricut project! Great job Emilie Rees and Karlie Snyder!

What are you doing this weekend?
Hopefully, you are coming to see our awesome choir + a few others performing in the 2020 HS Musical - The Ever After!!
These students have been working hard since fall to prepare this hilarious continuation of classic fairytale stories. We will be addressing deep seeded issues, such as the feud between Cinderella and her "beauty-impaired" stepsisters and the Evil Queen's insecurity issues thanks to the Mirror Mirror on the Wall.
You won't want to miss it - family friendly, lots of good music and acting!
Showtimes are 2:00 & 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 7th and 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 8th. Tickets are $6/adults & $3/students and can be purchased ahead of time from me or any choir member or purchased at the door.
Attached are a few pictures from rehearsal last night and a list of students, so you can see a little of what we're about!
Hope to see you there!

5th graders traveled to the GR Symphony on Friday where they learned about instruments, musicality and saw their art on display. A BIG thank you to our transportation, food service, 5th grade team and Ms. Tiyi and Mrs. McConnell for working together to bring this great opportunity to our students! 🦌💚

Attention parents/community members/students:
With winter sports coming to an end, we have reached maximum capacity on our buses. As a result, there will be no bus passes issued until further notice. Seating on all bus routes is full. Once we come to mid-April, it is anticipated we may return to issuing bus passes Thank you for understanding.

Thank you to everyone who came out to the elementary’s first Cookies and Canvas event last night! Also a huge thank you to Mrs. Kanouse for leading the group and the PRPTG for organizing this event!

Congratulations to the 7th Grade, 8th Grade, and High School Band on an excellent showing at MSBOA District One Festival. The 7th graders showed tremendous growth and confidence for their first time out. We talked about how it is not so much the number they earn, but the growth they have experienced. And boy, has this group grown! They earned a 3 overall, which included a 2 in sight reading. Very proud of your progress and looking forward to see how far you go from here. The 8th graders came back after last year's 3, focused in and came away with a division 2, including a 1 in sight reading! Your growth and improvement over the last year is a great example to the younger students- great job! The HS Band played a great program, demonstrating musicality and technicality, earning a Division 1 and the right to head to State! Well done, everyone - Eyes With Pride

4th Grade Poetry Team!

What an INCREDIBLE Night to be a BUCK! Our first annual, “Building the Buckhood,” was a success! Thanks to all of the families that came out to show support. We had over 100 elementary students attend, and our very own 3rd graders did an excellent job singing the National Anthem. A BIG thanks to Mrs. Thompson, Mrs. Dennis, Mrs. Powell, Mrs. Wagatha, and to the entire Varsity Boy’s Basketball Team for planning this night! PRoud!
