We had a great 4-12 send off for our state bound wrestlers! PRide!
Official Big News today! PRAS has been awarded $191,576 from the MI Community Center Grant to be used for some of the HVAC needs that we identified. This grant was submitted early last fall before we knew of the bond opportunity. There was a lot of work put into this grant and a lot yet to come in order to comply with all their grant requirements. We were one of only 6 schools awarded grant funds. Other recipients included 69 nonprofits, 22 governmental agencies, and 3 colleges / universities. So I feel very grateful for these funds.
Also, many thanks to PR retiree Ava Lucas, TR / Operations Director TJ Updike and Triangle Construction for helping to get all the information ready for this grant last fall, in a very short time frame. This will mean that some of the anticipated bond funding we were considering for HVAC upgrades may not all be needed, and can be used for other needs.

Mr. Thompson is at it again - always doing something cool with our students. When I walked into his class yesterday, they were working on making fishing lures. You may not know this but Mrs. Gill is an avid fisherwoman, so this was right up my alley. Check out these amazing creations!
Many thanks to our PR Bus Drivers as we honor them today for all they do to safely transport our students! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Reminder: Community Forum TODAY, 6 pm, middle school library. We'll have a quick presentation and open forum about the proposed bond opportunity. Hope to see you there!
